The Striding Edge team are an experienced group of prepaid marketing team experts, our leading consultant is Helen Child: She featured recently in Dr Nigel Lockett's book 'Exploring Entrepreneurship', Helen's an energetic and successful Chief Executive, having built a FSA regulated business from a start-up prepaid services company through to being the first E Money License holder in the UK to be awarded Issuing Licenses from both Visa and Mastercard.

Helen Child was the founding director and major shareholder of G-T-P Group, a B2B and Prepaid Card company, trading across Europe and the USA. Always at the heart of sales negotiation and client activity, Helen Child's role was instrumental in securing the role of prepaid service providers for an impressive stable of clients; The Home Office, Travelodge, Pilkington, Gant, PizzaExpress, The AA, Virgin, Hertz, to name but a few.

Readers of the leading industry magazine voted her one of the 'Top Ten Most Powerful Women in Prepaid Industry'. She plays an active role in shaping the prepaid market being a founding member of the Prepaid International Forum; the global, not for profit prepaid card industry forum. Never far from championing the customer and cause, Helen headed the working committee that wrote The Customer Charter - a jargon free benchmarking standards working paper. Helen is quoted extensible in trade and consumer publications.

Helen Child galvanised the females in Prepaid to create Women in Prepaid (WIPs), this is a networking social group where industry issues are debated and resolved. A regular speaker in the USA and Europe, being invited to talk on the hot industry topics ranging from fraud, business models and regulation. In 2009 she was the opening speaker at UK Gift  Card and Association  Conference. She has been asked to write industry articles on the difference between the three and four party models. A recent white paper featured her and her prepaid marketing team's work on the technical advantages of the Visa Private Label Network.

With a commitment to make a difference to the local community, she was the founding member of Lancaster & Morecambe Vision Board; a Regional Development Agency sponsored collaboration between local government and enterprises to assist with creation of strategic direction and regeneration programme for the area.
